Refunds policy.
Overview
Bible Buddy is a digital subscription service with immediate access to features, content, and AI-powered interactions. As a result: purchases are generally non-refundable, access is granted immediately upon payment, and refunds are only provided in limited and clearly defined circumstances. This keeps things fair and consistent for everyone.
Subscriptions and billing
Cancel anytime via your account or billing portal. Cancellation stops future billing; your access continues to the end of the current billing period; no refunds for unused time. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date — you're responsible for cancelling in time, and post-renewal charges are valid and non-refundable. If a free trial is offered, you're not charged until it ends; after that it's a normal paid plan.
Credits and usage
Some features are usage-based. Credits are consumed when features are used; used credits are non-refundable; unused credits have no cash value unless required by law.
Statutory consumer rights
Depending on your location, you may have a legal right to cancel and receive a refund within a specified period (commonly 7–14 days). For digital services this right may not apply once you've accessed the service or begun using paid features. Where these rights apply, they override this policy.
When refunds may be provided
Technical failure — a material, persistent, team-verified issue blocking core functionality that can't be resolved in a reasonable timeframe. Billing errors — incorrect charges, duplicate billing, or charges after a valid cancellation. Exceptional circumstances — rare cases where a refund is clearly fair and reasonable, assessed individually and not guaranteed.
When refunds will not be provided
Change of mind after purchase; not using the service; dissatisfaction with AI responses or persona behaviour; failure to cancel before renewal; minor bugs or temporary interruptions; issues caused by your device, browser, or network; or violations of the Terms of Service.
Bible Buddy is a live, interactive service, not a static product. Use is considered delivery.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute, your access may be suspended or terminated, and we may provide transaction and usage records to the payment provider. Please contact support first so we can resolve the issue directly.
How to request a refund
Contact support with your account email, transaction details, and a clear description of the issue — within 14 days of the transaction, unless local law provides otherwise.
Refund processing
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; processing times depend on your provider; access to paid features may be revoked immediately.
Policy updates
We may update this policy from time to time; the version in effect at purchase applies to that transaction. Bible Buddy is built as a long-term, trust-based service — we aim to be fair and reasonable while keeping boundaries clear and consistent.
